Storage that lets the records breathe.

Open shelving, cube units and modular systems chosen with a single rule in mind: LPs stand upright, supported, and easy to flick through. No leaning, no sagging, no warped sleeves.

What to look for

A short buying guide

  • 33 cm clear interior, minimum

Anything tighter and a 12-inch LP won't sit comfortably. Many generic bookcases miss this by a centimetre — measure before you buy.

  • Vertical dividers, not lean stacks

Records should stand straight. Built-in dividers, or sections short enough to keep stacks upright, protect sleeves and seams over time.

  • Load-bearing shelves

LPs are heavy. A metre of records is roughly 50 kg — flimsy MDF will bow. Solid wood or reinforced shelving earns its keep.
